Privacy Notice

What this site collects

Nothing. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no embedded third-party widgets and no cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. Server logs kept by the host record IP addresses for a short period as a technical necessity; we do not read them.

Email and submissions

• Your email — held in the inbox for as long as the conversation is useful, then deleted. No mailing list exists to be added to.
• Reader tank submissions — photographs, parameters and your description, kept while the piece is in preparation and after publication as the source record.

What gets published

Reader tanks are published with a tank number, not a name, unless you ask to be credited. Parameters are published as sent. Nothing identifying — location, social handle, email — appears unless you specifically request it.

Ask us to take a published submission down and we will, without asking why.

Photograph ownership

Your photographs remain yours. Sending them gives us permission to publish them on this site, and nothing else — not to license them onward, not to use them in other media, not to hand them to anyone requesting them.

Ask what we hold and we will tell you; ask us to delete it and we will. [email protected].
